Ancrum ONE offers a wide range of medical services to patients in Dundee and the surrounding areas. All patients must be registered with Dr Iain Arthur, Dr Sarah Arthur, Dr Paul Clarke or Dr Faye Sinclair.
Normally we accept new NHS patients wishing to join the Practice. However, on 1st March 2018 our List closed for an initial period of up to six months. This means that no new patients can register with the Practice until the List is reopened. There will be no change in the service for existing patients.

These four GP Partners are supported by one or sometimes two GP Registrars who are experienced doctors in the final years of their training. We also use locum doctors when necessary to maintain our level of service.
As well as the doctors, our team has two Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant, a Practice Manager and five receptionists. We also have attached District Nurses, Health Visitors, a Midwife and a Respiratory Specialist Nurse.
Ancrum ONE is located in Ancrum Medical Centre which is a spacious, traditional building in Ancrum Road, Dundee, Scotland. We share the premises with the separate Practice of Drs Allen, Thomson & Ip.
We are continuously striving to improve our service and welcome your comments, good or bad, on how we are doing. We have a Patient Participation Group who meet several times a year to discuss Practice developments. If you would like more information on this group please contact our Practice Manager Mrs Fiona Neill on 01382 669500.
We always take complaints seriously and act on them. Our procedures are outlined on the Complaints page.
We are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
For an appointment or telephone advice please call 01382 669500
We also offer a late surgery on either Tuesday or Wednesday starting at 5.30pm. This is reserved for patients who cannot get to the surgery during normal working hours.
We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
We may also close along with other Dundee Practices on occasional afternoons for training events.
If we are closed and you are too ill to wait until we re-open, please visit the NHS 24 website for advice or call them free on 111
Our practice is closely linked with The University of Dundee Medical School. We very often have medical students sitting in with the Doctors and Nurses. If you do not wish to have a medical student observe your consultation please tell the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment.
Many Doctor and Nurse appointments are wasted each week when patients Do Not Attend (DNA) and do not cancel. We operate a strict DNA Policy which can be viewed here.
